The Digital Marketing Campaign Manager reports to the Associate Director of Marketing and is responsible for implementing marketing campaigns for Executive Education programs. This position also contributes to other marketing projects as needed. The position works closely with Executive Education sales team, faculty, and external vendors.
Social Media Campaign Development and Execution 25% - Create and execute promoted and organic social campaigns, supporting department and program strategies - Recommend and execute bidding, segmentation, and A/B testing strategies for promoted posts - Manage the channel budget - Partner with Carlson School social media manager to cross-promote programs - Analyze overall effectiveness of campaigns; recommend and execute tactics to achieve cost per lead and engagement goals
Email Development and Execution 25% - Create and execute email campaigns, supporting department and program strategies - Recommend and execute segmentation and A/B testing strategies - Partner with Carlson School marketing managers to cross-promote programs - Analyze overall effectiveness of campaigns; recommend and execute tactics to achieve click through rate and open goals
Google AdWords Campaign Development and Execution 20% - Create and execute Google AdWords campaigns for new Exec Ed programs - Analyze and optimize existing AdWords campaigns - Recommend and execute bidding strategy - Manage the channel budget - Analyze overall effectiveness of campaigns; recommend and execute tactics to achieve cost per lead goals
Campaign Development 10% - Develop and manage participant referral program - Develop and manage participant scholarship program - Evaluate programs and make recommendations to enhance program effectiveness
Additional Marketing Projects 20% - Partner with marketing team to create and execute additional department initiatives, including customer journey, customer events, business development support etc. - Manage Hubspot workflows, lists, forms etc Support department needs for graphic design
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: - BA in Marketing, Journalism or related field plus 3 years professional experience, or 6 years combined equivalent education and experience. - Experience successfully managing projects from inception to completion - Experience creating and executing digital campaigns, including social media and email Ability to extract knowledge from analytics numbers and make them comprehendible to others - Experience with Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Databases - Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver, various web editing tools - Excellent writing and communications skills - Strong orientation to detail - Excellent proofing skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / SELECTION CRITERIA: - Google AdWords certification & experience creating and executing AdWords campaigns - Experience with Hubspot and/or other web analytical tools - 3-5 years related graphics design experience - 3-5 years of experience working with databases - Ability to negotiate with vendors - Experience managing channel budgets - Problem-solving skills - Excellent proofing skills - Experience with A/B testing - Familiarity with prescriptive and causal analytics - Familiarity / experience with video / YouTube (business application)
