This energetic, highly driven professional is an extension of a thriving, diverse and robust marketing operation—including customer-facing / revenue-driving activities, events, community and corporate relations, and internal communications. The Marketing and Communications Assistant will provide administrative assistance to the Chief Operating Officer and support tasks managed by the Assistant Vice President of Marketing Communications.
Core Responsibilities • Work collaboratively with and act as a liaison between other teams • Provide an extensive variety of administrative and support functions, including scheduling, maintaining files, assembling reports/projects, distributing information, and sending and receiving correspondence • Provide employee communications support that is thoughtful, genuine and informative, including recognition, health and wellness, business updates, event promotion, community involvement and more • Coordinate logistics of special projects, tasks, calendars, meetings, travel and other activities • Research and compile data and other information to support business needs • Draft, proofread and prepare corporate documents, presentations, agendas and more • Possess a solid understanding of the organization’s brand, value proposition and corporate culture • Provide input during the development process of editorial calendars and other communications activities, and assist in scheduling and creating content—primarily for internal audiences • Develop messaging opportunities and coordinate companywide communications • Collaborate with others to ensure communications needs are met • Maintain website, resources and other channels to ensure employee-facing communications/content is consistently accurate, up-to-date and relevant • Establish / maintain cross-functional relationships with internal stakeholders, community/business partners and vendors
