VP Business Development (Residential)
The VP Business Development (Residenital) will lead the cultivation and coordination of new third party business with investors that are both direct owners and sellers of real estate with Waterton on larger single asset and portfolio acquisitions or M&A opportunities.
New Business Development
Research and develop a thorough understanding of the company's people and capabilities.
Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators.
Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization.
Business Development Planning
Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback on new relationships and information on market and trends.
Present and consult with mid and senior level management on business trends with a view to developing updated presentations.
Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships.
Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met.
Track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to meet these targets.
Seek new market opportunities within the United States and any other up and coming MSA's.
Develop and maintain the relationships with the brokerage community. Be responsible for achieving the contract goals of the company.
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Real Estate or related field required. MBA strongly preferred.
Minimum of ten (10) years' of progressive acquisitions experience in multi-family real estate, with at least ten (7) years' of management experience. Previous hospitality and senior living experience strongly desired. Proven track record of closing successful deals and building/maintaining strong industry relationships.
