The clinical marketing consultant is responsible for developing, implementing and measuring effectiveness of marketing plans for select clinical service lines. Working closely with clinical leaders, outreach, finance, strategy and business development colleagues, this role acts as the lead strategic marketing partner to help grow the Children's Minnesota clinical service line(s). With a strong customer orientation and understanding, this role is able to take in and synthesize complex business and clinical information in order to design effective customer engagement, segmentation, targeting, positioning and messaging strategies.
This role will develop deep business and operational understanding of clinical service line(s) as well as true customer (physician and patient family) insights. This position requires wide-ranging knowledge and experience in marketing analysis, creation and execution of integrated marketing plans and communication, development of multi-faceted strategies and tactics to drive adoption.
Collaborates with other marketing colleagues to coordinate internal creative resources and external vendors to execute plans in smart, cost-effective ways. Success is defined through key business and operational plan measures.

Education: * Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, journalism or related area. MBA a plus.
Experience: * 5+ years of experience in marketing, advertising or agency environment, experience working in the healthcare industry or medical product marketing a plus. * Proficient in marketing analysis and reporting. * Experience in developing, leading and executing marketing and marketing communication strategies and plans. * Experience owning and executing a multi-faceted marketing plan; experience with omni-channel marketing planning. * Solid understanding of offline and online marketing channels: purpose of each, key characteristics and uses, target audience, etc. * Experience in account management and planning a plus.
