Hiring for Director of Marketing and Training in Dallas Texas!
Will oversee a small team of marketing and training professionals and driving the strategic direction of all related efforts. This position will assist in the creation of the property marketing plans and help onsite teams and Regional Directors craft strategic plans to reach their leasing/occupancy goals. Determine marketing strategy for all properties, including upcoming acquisitions and new development projects. Shop comps on all new assets. Inform the senior staff of current market conditions which may impact their communities. This position must stay abreast of large corporate relocations to take advantage of these opportunities. Establish performance benchmarks (i.e. closing ratios, renewal ratios, lead generation, shopping report scores, guest card follow-up, etc.).
Create and distribute both internal and external company newsletters. Direct report to COO and assist with Corporate marketing efforts as needed. Oversee and assist with training and work with team to continuously revise and improve training curriculum and supporting materials.
Review reports to monitor performance relative to established benchmarks, identify problem trends and to determine the appropriate marketing strategies needed to accomplish future leasing goals. Consistently stay abreast of new marketing tools and trends that can be utilized throughout the portfolio. Suggest new tools and technologies to the Dir. Of Property Management as needed. Monitor all online advertising sources (ILS sites, property websites, review sites, etc.) to ensure information in accurately and favorably portrayed and that all paid sources are functioning effectively.
Seek out new venues and methods of training (i.e. on-line, peer-to-peer) to accommodate future growth. Provide mentorship and leadership to marketing and training team.

BA/BS degree in business, marketing or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of marketing & property management experience.
